July was the month Rocket Web Labs officially entered a new chapter.
After months of planning, designing, and refining, I launched the new Rocket Web Labs website. More than just a redesign, it represents a shift in how I'm approaching the studio—building a growing collection of websites, templates, tools, and products that continue to evolve over time rather than waiting until everything is "finished."

One of the biggest milestones was submitting the new site to Awwwards, where it was nominated on July 19. Seeing the project receive an overall score of 9.05/10 from the community has been incredibly encouraging, and I'm looking forward to seeing the final jury results.
Client work continued moving forward throughout the month. Advanced Solutions Group was completed and handed back to the agency for client delivery, Victoria For Sale received an upgrade to live MLS listings, Fainting Couch Spa entered the client review stage, and I kicked off planning for a new e-commerce project with Henry Slaughter that's scheduled to begin in early August.
Behind the scenes, July was also a huge milestone for the AI Real Estate Concierge.

The biggest change wasn't adding more features—it was completely changing the philosophy behind the platform. Instead of building another AI property search, I started designing a true digital concierge inspired by my years working in luxury hospitality. The AI now asks thoughtful follow-up questions, learns about a buyer's lifestyle, and provides recommendations based on how people actually live instead of simply applying search filters.
Development also expanded well beyond conversational AI. During the month I completed major features including intelligent MLS search, neighbourhood insights, property analysis, saved homes and searches, appointment management, seller valuation workflows, CRM tools, and a new automated neighbourhood enrichment system that now supports listings across Vancouver Island. By the end of July, the focus shifted away from adding new features and toward structured quality assurance in preparation for real-world testing with local real estate professionals.
Outside of work, the highlight of the month was seeing Boris Brejcha perform in Vancouver for the third time. Every show is inspiring in its own way, and it reminded me of another long-term goal: one day I'd love the opportunity to redesign his website and work with the Fckng Serious label.
As August begins, the momentum continues. New client work is starting, the Rocket Web Labs website will keep expanding section by section, and there's a growing list of tools, templates, and ideas waiting to be built.
