June felt like a month of closing chapters while opening new ones.
I wrapped up two client websites: Studio Boden and Robinson Bros Contracting, both of which have been exciting projects to bring across the finish line. At the same time, I began work on Fainting Couch Spa, while continuing to support a handful of white-label projects for agency partners behind the scenes.
One of the biggest milestones this month was having Nova Group approved for the Wix Marketplace. Seeing it officially become part of the marketplace is a rewarding step and something I've been working toward for quite a while.

I also expanded the growing collection of website tools with a new Mortgage Calculator template. It's designed for real estate professionals who want to offer useful resources to visitors while creating opportunities for lead generation.
Not everything this month went according to plan. Wix announced company layoffs, which meant I lost my Partner Success Manager. It's always unfortunate seeing talented people affected, and it serves as a reminder of how quickly the industry can change.

Outside of work, my family and I took a trip to Osoyoos, BC, where my wife's grandparents were able to meet Felix for the first time and spend time with Nova. Those moments are easy to overlook when work gets busy, but they're often the most meaningful part of the month.
As June comes to a close, Rocket Web Labs is getting ready for one of its biggest milestones yet: the launch of the new website. It's been months in the making, and I'm looking forward to finally sharing it—and everything that follows.
